I have been a veterinarian at Mountain Vista Animal Hospital since 1991. I am a transplant from Nebraska (still a Cornhusker at heart) and I completed my veterinary training at Kansas State University in 1991. I have a passion for ultrasound which has become my strongest area of interest. I also have a strong interest in internal medicine and cardiology. I love to see new puppies and kittens with their new owners to counsel them on how to keep their new addition happy, healthy and well behaved.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Geoff Jenkins, who is a graphic designer. We share our home with our furry children who consist of 1 terrier mix and 1 crazy cat. All of my pets were rescues. My cat, Bopelini (named after Nebraska’s head football coach), always has us on our toes and entertained. Besides practicing veterinary medicine and ultrasound, I love spending time with my husband and furry friends, playing volleyball, watching football (GO BIG RED!), reading, watching movies and studying the bible.
